40 years. That's how long he stood there, in that spot, unmoving. Waiting.
Only once did he get a visitor, only once did he power on. As he would later understand, his skylight broke, allowing one little, curious bird to fly in.
It didn't stay for long. It sang a few notes, hopped around on his fingers and sun rays. He did not understand why it was there, or where the children had gone, but he felt comforted by its presence.
Then, as quick as it came, it flew away. He longed to join it, flying in the sky, able to move and sing. Free.
He never saw it after that. He knew because that was the only time he turned on in 40 years.
He hoped the little birdy was alright.

Hope you enjoyed this animatic, and that little tidbit of backstory for Sun :3
As I mentioned at the end, this is for the fic I'm working on titled 'Like Clockwork', which you can read from the link down below. Only chapter one is out right now as of posting (edit: now two!), but I have chapter two ready to go, and three is in the works. I'm so excited for you guys to read this!
Basic summary is that you (yes, it is a Y/N type fic, but the phrase 'Y/N' is never used (a personal thing I don't like tbh), and it's mostly centered around the animatronics themselves and their growth and stuff) are a YouTuber who explores abandoned theme parks, and you finally investigate the infamous Fazbear Theme Park with many alleged incidents surrounding it. In the long abandoned little kids section, you find a powered off Foxy, Bonnie, Sun and Moon. Curious, you explore, not thinking much of it.
But then Sun wakes up.
I've been planning this for a while, so I really hope you all like it! I'll try to remember to post some art for it too that I have doodled out (plus some upcoming little animation memes for this fic)
Anyway, even if you don't read the fic, I hope you enjoyed this nonetheless! It was super fun for me to play with perspective lines and angles and stuff
