I was hesitating about uploading this stuff I made recently, but anyway :D predicting thouthands of dislikes

A lot of people asked me to give some advices about vidding and I've finally decided to create a list of the most common mistakes new vidders usually make. But I can't just make a list, you know? That won't be fun.
Sarcasm is a delicious spice, it makes everything better. It both enertains us and makes all the drawbacks vidisible. So why no to use it here? I don't want to offend anyone or smth like that - I just want to highlight all the disadvantages which beginners are s eeking for in their videos. And also make you laugh a bit (maybe, not only new vidders xD).

Ok, for those without sense of humour - DON'T DO THAT. Don't do anything showed in the video. If you noticed that you've done smth like that in your vids before - just try no to repeat it in the next ones and you'll see improvement at once.

Here is the list of explanations:
1. Don't use too much effects. I've seen a lot of beginners whose first step in vidding was adding as much effects as possible. You may say that there are plenty of vidders who use a lot of effects perfectly - yes, they edit like gods, but it passed hell of a time since they started vidding. You see, when you are new and don't know how to edit properly yet, effects will just spoil it all, especially those original SV dumb ones. First of all, try to master the editing itself without all those additional tools, understand how it all works. And only then your next step must be work with effects.
2. Don't use strange fonts. They may seem quite normal themselves, but they're not always appropriate for vidding. It doesn't look well when a vidder uses a curly/lovely/wavy font in a video about death or murder. Try to use something simpler but stylish instead - for example, I used Arial in the whole vid and it doesn't look awful. It's all about the way you present it.
3. Use good-quality clips. The most common excuse I've heard - "I can't find a better quality". Well, so how did the others find? Use torrents (like kickass.to), ask google, ask other vidders - it's all possible. I don't say you shoud use only HD clips - it can be just normal quality. But if you use something downloaded from YouTube in 240p - it doesn't look pretty.
4. Don't change text too fast. Okay, that's the problem not only for beginners. I've seen so many times how vidders in their funny vids try to type all the text a person say. And people sometimes talk reaaaly fast. If you don't know what to do in such case - just type key or main words. Or don't type anyhting. Either way people's eyes will hurt.
5. Don't use too much overlays. That's close to the first point - sometimes new vidders try to use all they have in one vid, and it turns out to be a total mess. If you're not sure whether you should put an overlay there or not - better not. Really.
6. Make right cropping. Or just simply - crop it. Don't be lazy - go to Pan/Crop and make all the clips look like 16:9. Or if you want to make a video widescreen - add Cookie Cutter to all the clips which are 16:9 and cut black strips up and down. Either way your vid won't look unified and complete.

I hope you found this vid funny (and maybe useful in some way). Remember, it's just a jesting list for a 'perfect vidder', so don't get offended if you're about to xD

And if you like this idea - I'll appreciate feedback and new ideas of such vids. And yeah, you can always ask me for a piece of advice on ask.fm, I don't bite :)
