This video tells the incredible story of the OV-10 Bronco, a ground-attack aircraft built by two Marine friends in a California garage in the early 1960s. Capable of carrying three tons of ordnance, the aircraft went from a garage prototype to a formidable combat vehicle that served for over fifty years. The Bronco served in the Vietnam War, where it logged tens of thousands of combat hours, hunted convoys along the Ho Chi Minh Trail with laser designators, and supported the legendary Black Pony Squadron in the Mekong Delta. After being decommissioned in 1995, the aircraft unexpectedly returned to service twice: first for the Gulf War in 1990 and then in 2015 against ISIS terrorists. The Bronco's story proves that ingenious design simplicity and versatility can be more valuable than advanced technology.

Key moments:
— The creation of a prototype aircraft by two Marines in a garage against the backdrop of the Cold War and the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962
— Receiving a contract from the Pentagon in 1964 and creating a combat vehicle with four M60 machine guns, missiles, and three tons of ammunition
— Combat use in Vietnam from 1968 to 1975, including operations with Pave Spot laser designators alongside F-4 Phantoms and the Black Pony Squadron's actions in the Mekong Delta
— Reincarnation for Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm in 1990, where the Bronco helped destroy fifty tanks and hundreds of vehicles
— Secret return in 2015 after recovery by NASA for Operation Inherent Resolve against ISIS in Iraq and Syria
