Arkady Anatolyevich Novikov is Russia's first restaurateur and renowned entrepreneur. He was born in 1962 in Moscow.
After high school, he graduated from Moscow Culinary School No. 174, then from the Faculty of Public Food Economy at the Plekhanov Russian Academy of National Economy. He began his professional career as a cook at the Universitetsky restaurant. In 1990, he became the head chef at the renowned Hard Rock Cafe.
In 1991, Arkady Novikov opened his first restaurant, Sirena, which became the capital's first seafood restaurant, boasting a fundamentally new approach to cuisine, service, interior design, and atmosphere. This marked the beginning of a new, post-Soviet era in the development of the Russian restaurant industry.
In 2002, Arkady Novikov established his own greenhouse farm, Agronom, in Gorki-10 (Rublevskoye Highway).
Since 2005, he has been creating and promoting organic products under the NOVIKOV brand.
In 2011, the first restaurant, NOVIKOV Restaurant & Bar, opened in London. In 2013, a project of the same name opened in Moscow. In 2018, NOVIKOV Restaurant & Bars opened in Miami, Doha, and Sardinia.
To date, the renowned restaurateur has over 80 successful projects to his credit.
