Redcore Linux is a Gentoo-based, rolling-release distro which supplies binary packages from the Redcore repositories using its own package manager called sisyphus. Redcore Linux is available for download as a 64 bit, KDE Plasma desktop. It comes with a hardened kernel and uses OpenRC as the init.
In this video, I show that you're not limited to using the default KDE Plasma edition provided by Redcore. I installed and am using Openbox on my Redcore system.I show some Redcore basics and how to install items (from portage) that aren't in the official Redcore repositories...and I reminisce about my "Red to the Core" days from two or three years ago. :)
