Goodbye, Ali Sadpara and fellow mountaineer

Search and rescue operation ends, three climbers who went missing during K2's winter adventure declared dead, families of climbers and Gilgit_Baltistan Tourism Minister Raja Nasir hold a press conference in Skardu.
Muhammad Ali Sadpara and his son Sajid will be awarded the Civil Award while the government will be recommended to name Skardu Airport after Muhammad Ali Sadpara.
The news conference was also attended by relatives of Icelander John Snorri and Chilean mountaineer Juan Pablo Mohr.
During the press conference, Sajid Sadpara showed courage and controlled his emotions and thanked the entire nation for praying for his father and expressing good wishes during the rescue and search operation. My father and two other foreign climbers were the best climbers in the world that will always be remembered," he said.
John Snorri's brother also addressed the press conference. He thanked the government of Pakistan for conducting rescue operation to find his brother and other colleagues. He paid tribute to the deceased climbers and appreciated their services in the world of mountaineering.
Provincial Minister for Tourism and Sports Raja Nasir Ali Khan said the government has decided to provide scholarships for the education of Muhammad Ali Sadpara's children and to set up a mountaineering school in his name.
Leading Pakistani climber Muhammad Ali Sadpara, Icelandic climber John Snorri and Chilean climber Juan Pablo Mohr climbed the bottleneck at an altitude of 8,200 meters on February 5, 2021 during their final summit push in the winters on world's second highest peak, k2 but they were missing on the way, they were searched a lot but nothing was found. Today, they were declared dead at the official level and the rescue operation was called off but, the recovery mission will be continue.
