Wife Carrying Championship // 60 Second Docs
The North American Wife Carrying Championship requires competitors to vault over obstacles, sandy hills, and trek through mud, all while hoisting their wives. If you win the annual championship, you’ll receive the prize of your wife’s weight in beer and five times her weight in cash. Last year’s winners were Elliot and Giana Storey of Westbrook, Maine, and though this time they didn’t win first place, the pair still achieved a common goal together -- making it through the grueling race, and taking home second prize.
