In this tutorial i will walk you through the way to use the typewriter effect in final cut pro, for a long time i've had a hard time making it look the way i wanted to due to final cuts own way to set the speed on the typewriter layer. By converting the typewriter layer to a compound clip you can manage the speed in any way you see fit which is very convenient in your storytelling!
