Scale model DARK PORTAL from SCRATCH (World of Warcraft)
The Dark Portal is a build I've always dreamed of tackling, and finally found the right inspiration with the recent re-release of the Burning Crusade expansion for World of Warcraft.
Using materials such as XPS, Cardboard, Plaster and Clay, alongside with some 3D printed details. I was able to bring this iconic landmark to life for tabletop gaming scale.
I hope this gives you a good idea of what it takes to build massive terrain projects like this. As long as they are split up and divided into chunks, any project can be done!
