More recently, Elon Musk famously said that we were creating an immortal dictator from which we would never escape by developing artificial intelligence (AI). With so much attention being paid to the subject, it’s no wonder that so many people are wondering if artificial intelligence can take over the world and whether we should be afraid of it. But should we really be worried? Is artificial intelligence going to get all HAL 9000 on us?
