Sometimes it’s just not convenient to drag and drop files. Sure you can copy the file(Command C) and paste (Command V), but the problem with this approach is that your original file stays where it is and a duplicate file is created (resulting in two copies of the same file). Instead of pasting with Command V, try Command Option V. This will move the file from its original location rather than creating two copies of the file.
