How to map a console controller to a PC keyboard
AntiMicroX is a free program for Windows and Linux that allows you to use your gaming console controller (Nintendo Switch, Xbox 360, Playstation 4/5, etc) with your PC desktop or laptop by mapping the gamepad's buttons to a computer keyboard. I tried this app on an indie game I made myself (Challengo Go, inspired by Chip's Challenge) and it seems to work well besides occasionally disconnecting while outside of the game. There are also alternative apps, including options for Mac, but they may not be free or I haven't tried them so can't vouch for their usability.
