Don't Scrap Your Old Laptop. Upcycle It! Use 1 - Coding Development System
We all have old computers and laptops lying around waiting to be scrapped. But don't waste that neat all in one package! Upcycle it and turn it into something useful.
In this tutorial I'll turn my (very) old EeePC into a great, dedicated microcontroller development system. This lives in my project area and allows me to hook into my projects, code them and gather data from them without tying up my main machine.
If you've got kids, give them their own coding platform to play with!
We'll install a lite version of Linux, Lubuntu, and then set up all a MicroPython and Arduino development system.
