Strategies for Teaching a Hybrid College Course | A Remote Learning Fall Semester
In my university, we will be teaching in synchronous hybrid form. That means half my students will be in the classroom with me, while the other half is watching and participating from home on Zoom. Students will alternate attending class in person, so we can keep social distancing intact while in class.
Here are some teaching strategies I plan on using when teaching this hybrid class this fall semester. Other than Zoom strategies, I'm also trying out a new late work policy called time banking and themed office hours.
