How to Break Down a Script to Discover Your Character
Sophie Mensah is an actress and acting coach at many drama schools across the U.K. including; East15 Acting School, the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, ALRA, St. Mary’s University, and more. This class will focus on how to approach a script and a character from scratch, from the first reading of the text to creating a timeline of events and how to work through the text and get all of the information you need to create your character. You will discover the initial detective work the actor needs to do when approaching a role and how to work on a text as a whole.
