We use DSL queries to perform better searches in ElasticSearch, since they allow us to specify different criteria to get the documents we need.
We could use match to perform full text searches in any order, or use term to perform exact searches. Elastic Search offers us many clauses to adjust our searches, today we talk about the simple clauses that we are going to use the most, but we also talk about how to use them with bool to perform complete queries, so we can search for documents with multiple conditions.
We also talk about scoring, scripting and we tackle practical examples to understand how the Elastic Search API works.
