The Milwaukee MW802 is an excellent meter for measuring pH, TDS, and EC in solutions for a variety of applications, from household to laboratory and industrial (drinking water testing, aquariums, artificial ponds, and wastewater). All three parameters are measured using the same electrode.
The MW802 has a conductivity measurement range of up to 6.00 mS/cm and TDS measurement range of up to 4000 ppm, making it ideal for horticulture and hydroponics. Excessively alkaline or acidic soil and water pH can negatively impact plant nutrients, water absorption, and directly affect the effectiveness of fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides. Soil electrical conductivity is always tested before applying fertilizers to accurately determine on-site needs and assess their effectiveness.
The MW802 comes with a SE600 replaceable electrode for measuring pH, EC, and TDS. The sensor's technology reduces the impact of contaminants during fertilizer analysis. The tester features manual calibration of pH, EC, and TDS at a single point.
