How to improve mouse performance for computers, desktops, laptops, and tablets running the Windows 10 operating system.
If your mouse is acting erratically, jumping, or is not moving properly, there are certain options you can do to fix it. One of them is to adjust the mouse setting on your computer.
In this video, we will show you how to adjust the sensitivity of the mouse to fix your erratic mouse movements.
Steps in the video:
1. Go to start menu and type in “mouse” on the search bar.
2. Click on Mouse Settings.
3. Choose Additional mouse options and an extra window called Mouse Properties will pop up.
4. Click on Pointer Options in the Mouse Properties window.
5. The first option on this menu is to Select a pointer speed.
6. If you set it to slow, the setting has a lower DPI and your cursor will move slower depending on how slow you set it up to be.
7. If you set it to high, you can move across the screen faster with a higher DPI mouse setting.
8. Another aspect of the mouse setting that can improve your screen navigation experience is to enable or disable Enhance pointer precision.
9. Enable this feature if you would like to have the DPI adjustment on the fly.
