PDI Checklist:
Exterior:
1. Check for any dents, scratches, or paint imperfections.
2. Ensure all lights (headlights, taillights, turn signals) are working.
3. Check for cracks on all glasses.(Windshield, 4 windows, quarter glass, rear glass)
4. Tyre Manufacturing week & year to match with car manufacturing details.
5. Verify that all doors, hood, and trunk open and close properly.
6. Any damage to antenna.
7. Any dents on the roof.
8. Lock/Unlock feature.
Interior:
1. Total driven Kilometers to be less than 50Kms. If above 50, ask the executive why.
2. Inspect the dashboard for any warning lights.
3. Test all buttons and controls (radio, air conditioning, windows, etc.) to ensure they work.
4. Test the air conditioning front and rear.
5. Test the infotainment system, including audio, navigation, and connectivity features.
6. Check for any stains, tears, or damage to seats and upholstery.
7. Interior lights are working.
8. Check the power windows & switches.
9. Test the charging sockets, USB sockets.
10. Rear Camera view in the head unit.
11. Rear sensors and the guide lines.
12. Rear Viper.
13. Hood, fuel open switches.
14. Sound the Horn.
Mechanical:
1. Start the engine and listen for any unusual noises.
2. Test the brakes to ensure they are working properly.
3. See for any traces or oil leakage in the engine bay.
4. Check the battery at the terminals for no acid leakage.
5. Check the tires for proper inflation and any signs of damage.
6. Take the test drive of the car if possible and drive in reverse too.
