"Kat's Birdwatching": A Comic
Birder A: What type of birder are you?
Kat: You can do birdwatching as a social activity to meet up with people, or you can do it to get away from people. I'm part of the latter group. I just want to relax and learn about other lifeforms on this planet.
Birder B: Why did you decide to draw a comic?
Kat: There are things I wanted to remember about birding. I didn't want to write a book, but I had jotted down observations and drawn doodles to go with them.
Birder C: How good a birder are you?
Kat: I would say I'm a high intermediate. I can identify almost 200 birds in the county where I live. I have only birded locally. There are birders who have birdwatched in every state of the United States and other parts of the world.
