How to Add New Room Type on Softinn Extranet (Hotel Booking Engine)

Hello Softinn Extranet user. Your Hotel business is expanding and just launch a new hotel room type:- "Junior Suite". Hence, you would like to add the room details and photos to attract the guest to make a booking.
In Softinn Extranet, you can add a new room type.

Steps to Add a New Room Type:
Step 1 : Login to Softinn Extranet.
Step 2 : Select the correct property.
Step 3 : Click “MORE”
Step 4 : Click “Manage Room”
Step 5: Click “Add New Room” green button
Step 6 : Insert the room type details such as room name, number of rooms, room price, max adults and children, description, important notes for guests and room photos.
Step 7 : Make sure to fill up the one with a red asterisk symbol.
Step 8 : Click on “Create Room” once done.
Step 9 : Click “Yes, add it!”.
You will be notified once your new room has been successfully added.
It will take about 5 mins to generate the inventory for the newly added room type. While waiting, you may proceed with
1. Activating the mapped rate plan,
2. Create another room type,
3. Go to the BE Inventory page, or
4. Return to the “Manage Room” page
**NOTE : If you subscribe to our BE Rate Plan module, you will be able to create more than one rate plan. In this case, you may proceed with the room mapping to the other rate plans.
**NOTE :If you are also a Softinn PMS user, click on “Create Room Numbers on PMS'' to set up the room number on Softinn PMS.
**NOTE :If you are a Softinn CMS user for your hotel website, click on “Set up this room on Softinn CMS” to set up the new room type on Softinn CMS for your website.
**NOTE : If you want to update the units more than the plan that you subscribe to, you are not allowed to do so. Do reach out to Softinn Account Manager to upgrade to the higher plan.
