"Late snowfall": improvised w/ Wingie 2, Euroburo, Blukac Endless Processor, Bizarre Jezabel Chloe
I was messing around with some new instruments (Meng Qi Wingie 2, Intellijel Xfade) this morning, and it started to snow. So, I recorded it. The sounds, the snowfall, everything. It's an improvised piece, and there are parts I like more than others. But there it is.
Audio originates from the Meng Qi Wingie 2, which the Bizarre Jezabel Chloe distorts, delays, and filters. I recorded various ambient noises, finger snaps, and vocals from that output into an Empress Effects ZOIA Euroburo factory patch I wrote called "LoopSampler" (Ryan Holmberg/u_unholy_fool's "Quick Sampler" patch caused me to revisit this; I will probably have a V2 version available sometime soon). The output of the Euroburo, plus some additional live sounds from the Wingie/Chloe combination are mixed and sampled by the Blukac Endless Processor, which slowly fades in and out with resynthesized bits. The Euroburo and Endless Processor are then mixed with the Intellijel Xfade.
The Endless Processor and Chloe have been a big part of my sound design lately, so it was fun finding ways to integrate them with some new tools.
