Yocto Project Customization 101: Episode 3 (Customizing the kernel)
In episode 3 of 5, we show how to implement a kernel recipe within a custom Yocto metadata layer, so that instead of the TechNexion kernel, your image is built with a custom kernel, enabling complete control over the kernel code and configuration. As an example, we modified a kernel’s configuration and code to display customized boot logo on startup instead of the default Linux “Tux” logo.
