I Tried Finding Cheap Tech in Japan - Here's How it Really Went
There’s this perception online that Japan is filled with amazing tech you can get at low prices. I tried testing that theory out on my latest trip to Japan. I spent 3 weeks from Tokyo to Hiroshima, enjoying the country, and seeing if I could walk away with a backpack full of awesome cheap tech or come back utterly disappointed. And throughout this journey, I visited 3 different types of tech stores, secondhand stores, stores that sold used and new tech, and just major retailers that sell tech. And now that I’m back in the states, was what I bought cheaper? More expensive? Or more difficult to explain than that. Let’s get started.
