The Legend of Ashitaka from the Studio Ghibli film Princess Mononoke by Joe Hisaishi, played by the WDR Funkhausorchester under the baton of Christopher Dragon. Recorded live on 18.04.2024 in the Kölner Philharmonie as part of the youth concert “Anime mal anders: Symphonic Dreams”. At this concert, the WDR Funkhausorchester and WDR Rundfunkchor played great anime soundtracks and, like the audience, wore costumes of popular anime characters.
