This work is magnificent, and here I tell you why.
I am surprised that other reviews do not highlight the importance of women in the story and the evolution of events. Perhaps I realized because of the criticism I made of Elena Poniatowska's "the skin of the sky" where, despite being a feminist, in her story the woman fades; while in this work I believe that different facets of women and the power they exercise in the lives of men are highlighted.
You will also find other curiosities such as the role of the harlequin, criticism of power, politics, religion and medicine, among others.
A magnificent work.
