Lego Robot Wars: Series 7 - Build 2020
Hi everyone, I found this from a while ago and thought it would be worth uploading. A lot of people ask "how do you build them??" and they ask a lot of times...
I did try to make a how-to video but it was never to my satisfaction. Instead, when series 7 ended and I began plans for series 8 (not that that is even happening) as I took apart some of the competitors I took photos for instructions on how to re-build them.
By building 2020, or even just parts of it, you will see some of the techniques I employed to minimise weight and complexity, hold certain parts together and how the weapon works. I usually have to build and re-design several times before I'm happy, and even then most models evolve over time after the initial construction is complete - designs like this don't happen overnight so remember to take time with your own, be patient and just keep trying!
