We put a CT Sounds Strato v1 12 on the chopping block with the same file, volume, gain, amps, et al as the previous test with a Rockford Fosgate T1 12. The only difference was that this sub is a D4 and the Fosgate was a D2 so, to make things fair, the CT sub had to live twice as long as the Fosgate in order for it to be considered a tie.
This sub made it 1:54 into the song, which is 1:39 after the first bass line in the song I used. The Fosgate made it 31 or, 16 seconds in. If we double the Fosgate's time to 62, that's almost a minute less than the CT Sounds sub. And keep in mind, the Fosgate is an 800 watt sub and the CT is a 500 watt sub so, the T1 should handle almost double the power the Strato will.
