iPad: Recover a Deleted Photo/Video (iPadOS)
Samuel, computer cat extraordinaire, shows us how to recover a deleted photo (or video) on the iPad.
1. Within the Photos app, press the menu button in the upper left.
2. Then, go down to "Recently Deleted."
3. Press "View Album" (in blue) when it appears, and then enter your password if need be.
4a. Long press the photo you want to recover until a button appears, and then press "Recover."
4b. ...Or, simply tap the photo, and when it opens, press "Recover" in the lower right of the screen. Then, press "Recover Photo."
In either case, the photo has disappeared, because it's gone right back to where it was originally before deletion.
5. Press the menu button in the upper left of the screen, then head back to your photo albums. Your picture should be right where it was placed before it got deleted.
