The elves have finally done it. The Thalmor have conquered Skyrim, shattering the province and brutally slaughtering its people. No Nord will be left alive, and everyone who would dare worship Talos will be obliterated. The towns and cities have fallen into ruins, or been repopulated by the Thalmor and their elven loyalists. Everything's going according to their evil plan...
Except that WE survive.
As the last known survivor of the Thalmor elven apocalypse, and a devout Talos worshipper, it's our duty to harness the powers of Skyrim and its Nordic traditions to overthrow the elves and liberate the land. One by one, we'll take back each of the 9 holds from the elves and their bosses, while also being HUNTED by powerful bounty hunters and assassins called the Sinister Seven. We could be attacked by bounty hunters at any time, even while directly confronting the Thalmor within one of the cities they control. No place is safe.
In this survival playthrough, we're becoming a Nord pilgrim hero and a monk of Talos, relying on our Shouts and our unarmed attacks to dethrone the imperialist elves. We'll be taking power from word walls, Talos shrines, and High Hrothgar to master the powers of the voice and become a legendary champion.
