This is a workaround for OpenGL version not working properly on Kicad 6.0 which is the latest version of Kicad schematic and pcb layout software. The issue is still common across Kicad 6.0 users as I have also checked the web for fix. I did not find a quick fix to solved the issue, luckily I have came across the same issue when using Blender as Windows 10 have disabled my Nvidia Optimus Graphics card for my Samsung RF411 with Intel i7 Processor with 16GB Ram old hardware but still fully capable laptop. The fix is just copy an old version of opengl32.dll to the Kicad 6.0 installation directory /bin folder and it will fix the issue with 3D viewer not working. I have attached the file here on my home server for you to download and use. However use it at your own risk, it's your responsibility to scan the file for viruses - even though I have use it for my own Kicad 6.0 installation. If in doubt, just don't use the file. I'm making it available for those looking around. Please consider subscribing on the channel if it helps you. Thanks again!. https://dev.dw1zws.com/downloads/Open...
