Mi band 3 accuracy test in depth | Pedometer, Heart Rate, Sleep Tracking
I'm going to do mi band 3 accuracy test covering pedometer accuracy test, bike ride or travel test, heart rate sensor test, sleep tracking test to see the accuracy of the mi band 3 vs mi band 2.
Now, I did this mi band 3 accuracy test in comparison with mi band 2 because mi band 2 is established as one of the most accurate and best budget health tracker so it serves as a good reference point or as a benchmark to test mi band 3 accuracy test.
I'm also going to do mi band 2 vs mi band 3 full comparison and let you know if it's worth upgrading to mi band 3. I'm going to upload that video very soon so stay tuned for that too.
The mi band 3 comes with a 0.78 OLED screen with Bluetooth 4.2 and it has a better ip rating at 5 ATM so you can take it for swimming.It's priced at just 1999 rupees on amazon.
It's definitely a deserving successor to the MI band 2 and maintains the legacy of the Mi band 2 as the best budget health band under 2K.
A SMALL UPDATE : I noticed that Mi band 3 does count a few steps just like Mi band 2 when travelling. I've been keeping an eye on this off camera whenever I'm going out checking the readings of bike & the steps so I found that sometimes it counts a few steps but it's not like 1000's of steps it's very few. However, it's best to take into account only 70-80% of the results to have a more realistic & accurate picture.
Sleep tracking shows seemingly less deep sleep compared to mi band 2. I'll try to cover these in my full review with maybe screen shots.
