New BOM Drop for iDempiere ERP
A more usable intuitive BOM Drop attached to the window the user is operating from. Key info is automatically transferred to the BOM Drop dialog window without needing time to look around and possibly making human errors.
The rest is as before, choosing options and setting variant quantities before dropping back to the order.
The use of the 'cockpit panel' allow segegration of data presentation for better user targetting, without touching the core design thus elminating creeping bugs.
This pretty good framework is created based on years of my own personal experience resolving the ERP complexity hell.
