This is my video of Trevor Guthrie performing his song 'Soundwave', followed by his cover of the hit song 'All Of Me' by John Legend. I shot this video with my Sony Cyber-shot digital camera DSC-HX30V with 20x optical zoom in HD video mode. I was standing near the subwoofer at the side of the stage, so the bass is a little distorted because of that!
Trevor Guthrie has been one of my most favourite musicians for over 15 years now! He was formerly the lead singer & songwriter for the pop band soulDecision. Recently he has found fame again as a solo artist performing songs around the world in the electronic dance music genre. This was the first time I'd seen him perform live in a decade & it was a special concert for him too, since it was in his hometown of Vancouver, BC!
He was among other popular Canadian music artists (Shawn Hook, Mia Martina, & Dragonette) performing at the Commodore Ballroom for the Virgin Radio 94.5FM Beach Ball concert! Many thanks to them for hosting an incredible event!
