I have fallen madly in love with sketchbooks, and in this short I walk you through how I created my pileated woodpecker sketch using a ballpoint pen, acrylic ink, and gouache paint. This technique was honed by the incredible Dina Brodsky, who I was fortunate enough to learn directly from.
