Paul Drew from The Studio Rats demonstrates how to build a guitar pedalboard. Pedaltrain has a metro 20 which is great for a portable pedalboard. I needed it to be able to take as a carry-on on a plane and something I could take to small gigs. I decided that a Pedaltrain metro 20 board was the right size but fitting all the pedals on takes a bit of work. The power came from a truetone cs6 which fits right under the low profile pedalboard. All I needed was a tuner, buffer, drive, reverb and cab sim. The Studio Rats are core band members Paul Drew on guitar/production/mixing, drummer James Ivey and Dan Hawkins on bass. They collaborate with singers and musicians to produce radio-ready songs.
