Gemmy PROTOTYPE Military Frogz - Marines
To date, this was the most challenging frog to add to my collection. I have always wanted a frog from the Military line, but more specifically, I had the desire to own the Marine frog for more than half of my life. It was my favorite of the five Military Frogz, and those close to me knew the extent to which I was willing to go for it. However, locating one first was the real problem- these are practically unreleased.
After nearly 2 decades without a sign of any Military Frogz, one surfaced, which also happened to be the one I wanted the most out of the five. (A real blessing there.) I tried relentlessly to obtain it, enduring nearly a year of anticipation before finally succeeding. Holding it for the first time felt surreal, especially after I used to think I would never be able to get one. This Marine is a treasure to me, standing as not only one of the most incredible pieces in my collection but also among one of the most special Frogz I have. The long and difficult journey to get him was super rewarding in the end.
