SHOCK THERAPY COMPLETE - Geometry Dash
Welcome to Geometry Dash! Well guys, I really wanted to like this one, but I just couldn't. I still don't really know why. It's not like there's anything specifically wrong with the level, I just don't like it. Maybe it is due to the slow beginning that gets old very fast, or it could be the fact that I have been playing this level since the end of 2021, and planned to beat it back then, before dropping it to take on bigger tasks like Zodiac and Kenos. It could also be that my mood was low around the time I was playing this level. I don't know but this level was always really intimidating to me since I first heard about it a few years ago. On a positive note, I really like the way the level looks, I usually don't care or notice the decoration side of things with levels that I beat, since I can't really appreciate it (my appreciation for art usually comes in the form of sound). For some reason this level really stands out, I think Jenkins especially did an amazing job on his 2 parts. Nice job Jenkins! I wish I could tell you what my favourite part is, but I genuinely didn't enjoy any of them. I guess if I had to choose I would say the build up section between 20%-35%. That's the only part that I was at least somewhat content in playing. Overall I just found this level to be really depressing. Maybe it just reminds me of darker times that I was going through back in 2021. It just gives me this gloomy, dull, flat feeling I can't even describe it. One of my least favourite levels of all time and I just really don't know why.
