A while ago I streamed one of the biggest mods ever made for Subnautica, The Red Plague, a mod adding new creatures, regions, story, and more to Subnautica.
The Red Plague completely changes Subnautica in many ways, from adding a floating island over the Safe Shallows, making many existing creatures completely hostile to you with the Red Plague, which replaces the Kharra Bacterium, to making the Dunes basically inaccessible, and that's just what is shown in this video.
Subnautica is an open world survival horror game developed by Unknown Worlds Entertainment, and is the start of the Subnautica franchise with sequels like Subnautica: Below Zero and Subnautica 2. Subnautica has an extensive modding community, with many huge mods being currently available such as The Silence leviathan, The Bloop Leviathan, and De-Extinction. There are also mods in development currently, such as the Red Plague and the Return of the Ancients mod, featuring the Gargantuan Leviathan.
