Communicating Science and Science Communication (Baruch Fischhoff, PhD)
Part of APA's 2015 Public Interest Leadership Conference, this presentation addressed processes and challenges in identifying what knowledge is to be disseminated. Fischhoff explores 1.) what criteria should be applied to determine which science should be (is ready to be) translated, and 2.) how can we best address the uncertainty inherent in research findings while providing useful evidence-based information.
