Think before you click. Beware of emails claiming to come from the IRS. As tax refunds roll in, know that IRS usually communicate via direct mail.
IRS will not ask you for your personal information over phone. And if you want to be sure, call IRS yourself. Or log in into your account to see if you ha e any messages or call your tax preparer.
Check on the elderly and educate them.
