Too often, when we have a big $$$ budget for a project, e.g., the AGRA project, we take it National or Continental before knowing if it reaches our expectations in one location/village/region.
That is a terrible mistake that gives a bad reputation to projects in rural #Africa and other developing economies.
Always begin a National/Continental Program with a small-scale #Model.
You take it National after you correct whatever is needed (and there is always room for improvement) and see it answers your expectations.
In Israel, the #Kibbutz and Moshav developed as "models." It was AFTER they were proven successful that they were copy-paste to hundreds of settlements nationwide.
In #Senegal, #DreamValley began as a small-scale national MODEL. Now that we know it is successful, we can copy-paste it to its full-scale caliber.
And...
The model should be on something worthwhile, such as the #Mango multi $ billion industry.
