Transforming OLD, DARK Furniture WITHOUT BLEACH
I often get asked why most of my pieces are dark. To be honest, I usually prefer dark woods and paint colours. But sometimes it's nice to lighten up. Doing a paint wash is a great way to still see the woodgrain in furniture but to give the piece a whole new look. This isn't a new concept at all (and I don't tend to follow a lot of trends anyway), but it's what I envisioned for this smaller piece so I'm sharing it with you!
