REKAP ⚾️ White Sox 5-1 Loss to the Mariners - Sox lose but Lynn strikes out 16
The White Sox lose to the Mariners. The Sox were in the game most of the way. It was a 2-1 ballgame until the 8th inning. Reynaldo Lopez gave up 3 runs in the 8th inning, which put the game away for the Mariners.
Prior to that though, Lance Lynn was magnificent. He struck out 16 Mariners. 16! He went 7 innings and Kap says he was electric.
But Kap once again has an issue with Pedro Grifol. After the game he made some comments to people who don't like how he's using Jake Burger. Jake might be the Sox most productive hitter, but there are games where he doesn't play or is batting late in the batting order. Grifol told reporters after the game that if anyone has a problem with that, they can go talk to Jerry. Kap says that's a pretty arrogant comment from a guy who has achieved nothing and has a team 11 games under .500.
