Introduction to Flow Visualization: Streamlines, Streaklines and Pathlines
MEC516/BME516 Chapter 3 Control Volume Analysis, Part 1.1: A brief introduction to some of the techniques of flow visualization. Nowadays flow visualization is used for both experimental flows and flows obtained by computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Streamlines, Streaklines and Pathlines are discussed for steady and transient flows.
