The film examines the decisive moments along the Spice Girls' peculiar trajectory to understand the forces that would make them, and would also eventually break them. It sheds new light on the big stories of their career - such as Geri Halliwell's departure and the sacking of their manager (Pop Idol creator Simon Fuller) - and on their very different fortunes as celebrities after the Spice Girls.
