For the past few weeks, I've been observing the entire rice farming process in northern Vietnam—from preparing the terraces and water channel systems to planting the young shoots.
I was able to not only witness this process with my own eyes but also work alongside local residents, standing knee-deep in water among the rice fields of Sapa.
