ZFS Storage Server: Hardware Overview, 48TB 10gbit
YES!! It is time to do a new build!
Lets build an insane fileserver! It will get 48TB of storage and is ZFS based. The chassis is a 3U rackmount with 16 drive bays. The motherboard will be an intel S2400GP4 and I gonna get 2x Xeon E5 2400 series cpu. The memory will be 96GB ECC reg. And I gonna use 10GBE network card So I have Chelsio Solar Flare card and some other to try out.
