Sometimes, creating a reflection in Photoshop can make or break the realism of a composite. Even a composite as seemingly simple as replacing a sky can fail if the sky isn't reflected onto appropriate surfaces (like water). If you add an object to a shiny tabletop, counter or floor, but don't add the needed reflection, the scene won't be believable.
In this video workshop I demonstrate how to create three types of reflections in Photoshop: (1) Reflections on water after replacing a sky, (2) Reflections from a subject or object onto a shiny surface, and (3) A reflective wet pavement look. Plus, there's Bonus Content at the end showing one method for adding fake rain to a scene.
I'll include the start times for each of the demos in case you're specifically interested in one (or, more!) of the three.
