HDPE plastic part in a 3-axis mill
A customer designed part made out of 1" thick HDPE on a 3 axis Matsuura V-plus, with Fanuc control. The majority of material is removed using Mastercam's dynamic motion tool path. Other contributing technologies are Reneshaw's touch probe system and laser tool offset measurement system. Program, set up, operation and video by Brett Austin
